Earth Day Seed Bombs
Get your hand’s messy with your little ones with Earth seed bombs! This activity is great for sensory play and also provides an opportunity to talk about the planet and how plants grow!
What you need:
- Coloured paper (blue, white, green)
- Packets of seeds
- Water
- Bowls
- Blender
What to do:
- Tear up the paper into separate bowls, cover with water and leave to absorb for 30 minutes
- Grown ups, put each colour of paper into the blender and blitz until it forms a wet pulp
- Add your seeds to the blue bowl, mix and form into balls
- Add pieces of the white and green mixture to make it look like earth!
- Use the plant seed instructions to plant right away or let them dry and soak them when you’re ready to plant!
