Bring a Senior to Playgroup Week

Bring a Senior to Playgroup Week (9 – 15 November 2026) is Playgroup WA’s annual celebration of the important role seniors play in our families and communities.

Between 9 and 15 November, we are asking playgroups to host an event and invite special seniors along to join the fun. This can be grandparents, neighbours or other seniors in your local community.

Register your playgroup’s event with us by 11th October, by completing the form below. Great incentives as follows:

• A chance to WIN 1 of 3 amazing prize packages! Prize winners will be drawn and notified, following Bring a Senior to Playgroup Week in November. 
• The first 30 playgroups to register will receive a $25 gift card (your choice of Coles, IGA, FoodWorks or Woolworths). This will be posted out to you the week of 11th October, so you have it ready for providing some morning tea or other food at your event.
• Every registered playgroup can also choose to pick up FREE Brownes yoghurt pouches from Brownes Dairy’s Balcatta facility.

What can you do for your event? 

Below are some fun ideas of what you could do:

• Host a morning tea
• Have a barbecue
• Enjoy an outdoors picnic
• Invite seniors for a story sharing session
• Have an excursion to a local senior’s centre or aged care facility
