Grant Application Terms & Conditions

The grant will be paid to you in the manner outlined on the Schedule and subject to the following conditions:

1. The Grant will be spent on the approved purpose as stated in this application and conditions set out in the Grant Approval Schedule (Purpose), which will be sent to you on approval of this application.
2. Any and all changes to the purpose or conditions must be requested in writing and approved by Playgroup WA before any changes occur.
3. Any additional costs imposed by the supplier, including but not limited to price increases on goods or delivery charges, will not be covered by grant funds. In such cases, the playgroup must either cover the additional expense, substitute the item with a comparable lower-cost alternative, or forgo the purchase.
4. If Playgroup WA requires further information to ensure the grant is being used for the purpose set out in this application, your playgroup will give access to any information or allow access to the playgroup to confirm.
5. You confirm that all information provided in this application is true, correct and complete and is in no way misleading or deceptive. If you have any changes, please let Playgroup WA know in writing with relevant changes.
6. If approved, the Grant Approval Schedule will form part of these conditions and must be compliedwith accordingly.
7. You will provide confirmation on the completion of this project. Where funding is paid directly to the playgroup or organisation a Financial Acquittal Statement will need to be completed and forwarded to PGWA along with copies of invoices within 3 months of receiving the grant. Where PGWA has purchased goods on behalf the playgroup you will be required to forward evidence such as a written report or photos of the toys and equipment.
8. You will notify Playgroup WA in writing if you or any committee members have a conviction, allegation or investigation involving fraud, dishonesty, misappropriation or financial mismanagement or other circumstances that will affect your compliance with the conditions of this grant.
9. When publicizing your successful grant, with prior approval, you must use Playgroup WA and Lotterywest logos in accordance with our written directions.
10. In the event the playgroup closes, the item(s) purchased under this grant are to be redistributed to another playgroup or likeminded organisation.
11. If you breach any of these conditions, Playgroup WA, acting reasonably, may ask you to pay an amount of money equal to some or all of the Grant.
12. Playgroup WA may publicize the funding you have received for your playgroup.
