Bring a Senior to Playgroup Week 2025

Bring a Senior to Playgroup Week (10-16 November 2025) is Playgroup WA’s annual celebration of the important role seniors play in our families and communities.

While we know many grandparents and other special seniors already attend playgroup, it’s time to celebrate the many wonderful ways they inspire, nurture and play! 

Between 10-16 November, we would love for playgroups to hold an event, encouraging members to invite a special senior/s, along. If you can only hold the event the week before or after, that’s ok too. You’re also welcome to hold several events.

What can you do for your event? 

Below are some fun ideas of what you could do:

• Host a morning tea
• Have a barbecue
• Enjoy an outdoors picnic
• Hold an exhibition of your children’s artwork 
• Invite seniors for a story sharing session
• Have an excursion to a local senior’s centre or aged care facility

All playgroups who register their event by October 13th will receive a small package with Playgroup WA pens, chalk, beach balls, AND go into the draw to WIN awesome prizes! Fill out the form below to register your event
