Peg Aliens
One of our playgroups made these fantastic aliens from pegs! Clip them to a line of string, use them to secure paper together or peg them onto tree branches.
What you need:
- Wooden pegs
- Pipe-cleaners
- Sticky backed googly eyes
- Felt-tip pens
Set up a craft table with some wooden pegs, coloured pipe-cleaners, googly eyes and felt-tip pens. Encourage the kids to colour the pegs then help them to peel the backs off the googly eyes and stick them to one side of the peg. To make the alien arms you can either wind pipe-cleaners around one side of the peg or simply trap them inside the peg itself.
