Getting Here
Parking
Free public parking is available – the main carpark can be accessed via Gate 3 off Station Street and Gate 5 off Liege Street. Additional parking is available via Gate 1 off station street and there is also on-street parking.
Dedicated ACROD parking bays are located in the parking lots accessed via Gate 1 and 3/5
Public Transport
By Bus:
Bus Services – Albany Highway
Stop 10164 (south bound)
Stop 10049 (north bound) cross at Liege Street
Bus service 294 – Carousel to Midland Station
Stop 13627 or 22003 on Grose Street
By Train:
Use the Armadale Line – stopping at Cannington Station
Walking distance from station is approx. 1.4km

Pedestrian entry points
Entrances via Liege Street car park (Gate 4) and off Station Street (Gate 1 and 2).

Event Map & Schedule
This is a layout of the event space, highlighting key areas. The map is numbered for easy navigation, #1 is the Playgroup WA Welcome Table where attendees must sign in and receive their wristband. Here you can find additional information and assistance.
Liddelow Pavilion is a smaller area of the event with designated quite and chill out zones and sensory activities. Here you can chat to our disability inclusion staff members about inclusive playgroups!
Please sign in and collect your wristbands at the Main Entrance before visiting the activities
Facilities
Toilets, including accessible facilities and baby change stations, are available in both the Exhibition Hall and the foyer of the Liddelow Pavilion.
St John’s First Aid will be located at the Main Entry for any medical assistance.
The Canning Exhibition Centre and Showground is a wheelchair-friendly venue with accessible bathroom facilities throughout.
Communication boards are available at the Main Entry (Exhibition Hall) and in the foyer of Liddelow Pavilion
If you'd prefer not to take your pram inside, you're welcome to leave it at the designated pram parking area at #19. Please note this area is not supervised, and belongings are left at your own risk.
Food and Drinks
- Decadent Donuts: delicious donuts with handcrafted sugars made from the freshest fruits, spices and even vegetables. Event Schedule
Excitingly, we have some special guests joining us for story time, reading classic books to the little ones. Parents can also chat with Playgroup WA experts about early brain and language development and learn more about different play stages. Plus, Kindy Dance Time will be running fun, interactive dance workshops to get the kids moving and grooving – you won’t want to miss it!

A visual aid to assist children to communicate. Available in print at our events, allowing children to point to images to express their needs or wants.
