Families are invited to come along for a day of hands-on experiences, where children can explore various textures and sensations with activities like playdough, slime, jelly, marshmallow goop, and a mud kitchen. There will also be opportunities for sensory painting to encourage creativity.
To cover costs and ensure sufficient materials, families can pre-book their entry for a small fee. The event will provide access to both indoor and outdoor playgroup spaces for unstructured play and socialising with current members.
Additionally, attendees can enjoy a sausage sizzle, ice cream, and coffee from local vendors. There will also be small fundraising market stalls supporting local organisations such as First Friends Playgroup, Guildford Playgroup, the Australian Breastfeeding Association, Scouts, and the Girl Guides.
This will be a day of laughter, imagination, and community connection, promoting playgroup, local businesses, and associations, while supporting playgroup membership growth and fundraising efforts.
